Level 1 Reformer Pilates
The best place to start your Reformer journey.
Level 1 Reformer is a slower-paced class designed to help you build strong foundations on the Reformer.
You will learn how the machine works, how to move with control, and how to get the most from each exercise. We spend more time on technique, alignment and confidence, but you will still work deeply.
This is not "easy Reformer". It is focused Reformer.
What to expect
A low-impact, full-body class using the Reformer machine and spring resistance.
You will move at a steadier pace, with more explanation and support throughout. Expect strength, mobility and plenty of deep muscle work.
This class is ideal if you are new to Reformer Pilates, returning after a break, building confidence, or want to refine your technique before moving into Dynamic Reformer.
Looking for a slower class for active ageing? Move Well may be a better fit if your focus is strength, balance and mobility as you age. Chair Pilates may be more suitable if you need extra support or prefer seated and standing work without the Reformer.
Good to know
Please wear comfortable clothing you can move in. Grip socks are recommended for Reformer classes and are available to buy in studio. If wearing shorts please do have fitted lining.
Bring water and a small towel.
